Project Challenges

As with many high-end, bespoke builds, this project required careful coordination and adaptability. We were introduced at a later stage of the programme, which meant working within an already defined architectural and interior layout while still delivering a high-performance mechanical solution.

The main challenge centred around integrating the MVHR ductwork across three floors without compromising the client’s interior design vision or the building’s aesthetics. Achieving this required detailed planning, creative routing, and close collaboration.

By working closely with the main contractor, interior designer, and client, we were able to coordinate routes, adjust details, and refine solutions that respected both the technical requirements of the system and the overall design intent of the home. This collaborative approach ensured the MVHR system was seamlessly integrated, maintaining performance while preserving the clean, high-end finish expected of a luxury build.

Results

The completed home delivers exceptional comfort, efficiency, and performance, aligned with the expectations of a truly high-end new build. The integrated air source heat pump provides reliable, low-temperature heating and hot water, working seamlessly with underfloor heating throughout to create consistent, unobtrusive comfort across all three floors.

The MVHR system ensures a continuous supply of fresh, filtered air while retaining heat within the property, supporting a healthy indoor environment without compromising energy efficiency. Despite the complexity of the installation, all systems were carefully coordinated to remain discreet, preserving the clean architectural lines and interior design vision.

Through close collaboration with the main contractor, interior designer, and client, the final solution enhances both the day-to-day living experience and the long-term performance of the home — delivering a future-ready property that feels luxurious, comfortable, and effortless to live in.
