How Much Do Solar Panels Cost?

For example: A 4kW/ 10 Panel system can help mitigate much of the energy demand of a 3-4 person home. On average a system such as this would be fully installed with SolarEdge optimisation for a cost of just £6,900 (£5,500 for a string system*). This would require about 18 Sq. metres of roof space or if you don’t have the space on your roof consider a ground mount option. A larger optimized 14 panel system will give you 5.6kW and will cost £8,000 (£6,600 for a string system*) requiring approximantely 25 Sq. metres of roof space.
*String systems may not be as efficient in certain cases but will cost on average £1200 less than an optimized system.
