Tesla Powerwall 3.

With the Tesla Powerwall 3 households nationwide now have access to this cutting-edge battery storage solution. At EPC, we pride ourselves on being pioneers in the renewable energy industry.

These systems store surplus energy generated by solar panels for use at a later time. The excess energy can charge electric vehicles and offer backup power during outages. Additionally, Powerwall users can take advantage of innovative energy tariffs. For example, you can trade electricity with the grid for savings on your electricity bill. The Powerwall 3 will be compatible with the government's Smart Export Guarantee (SEG).

Tesla Powerwall 3: What's New?

Now with built in Solar Inverter.

The Tesla Powerwall 3 introduces several brand innovative features. The most notable is the integrated solar inverter. This allows for direct DC coupling with solar panels, enhancing the system's efficiency.

When you connect solar panels to the Powerwall 3, the battery stores the electricity they generate. It's then converted to AC power when it's required in the home. This direct feed reduces the number of conversions required. Thereby improving the storage efficiency from 90% to an impressive 97.5%. Homeowners can then use more of the energy they generate, increasing energy independence.

Our Tesla Powerwall battery storage solutions offer flexibility, durability, and superior performance. So, whether you're looking to avoid peak tariffs or to have a backup power supply, it's an ideal solution.

Let us help you take control of your energy usage with a system that's smart, scalable, and secure.

Common questions

Do I need solar panels to benefit from Powerwall?
No. Powerwall delivers strong savings on its own by charging from the grid on low overnight rates and discharging during expensive peak hours. Adding solar increases the benefit further by also storing free daytime generation. EPC can install both together as a complete system.
Which tariffs work best with Powerwall?
Octopus Go and Octopus Intelligent are currently the most popular for consistent home battery savings. Octopus Agile can deliver lower effective rates with more flexibility. EPC will recommend the right option for your usage and configure your system accordingly.
What certifications does EPC hold?
EPC holds MCS certification, Tesla Powerwall certification and Trustmark registration. These are the credentials that matter for a battery installation and we hold all of them on every job we complete.
Is finance available?
Yes. EPC offers flexible finance including 0% options, meaning for many households the monthly saving covers the repayment and the installation is cash-flow positive from month one.
Will it keep my home powered through a blackout?
Yes. Powerwall if installed with a gateway detects grid outages and switches to battery power in under 20ms, fast enough that most appliances will not notice the transition. Your home keeps running on stored energy with no action needed from you.
How much could I realistically save?
Savings depend on your usage, tariff and whether you have solar. Households combining a low-rate overnight tariff with Powerwall typically see £600 to £1,200 per year. EPC will give you a realistic figure for your specific home, not a headline estimate.
